If you’re Brad Pitt or roaming the urban jungle it may be fashionable to park your shades on top of your head, but this won’t do when in the real wilderness. Easily forgotten there, branches can pluck ’em off, or they may tumble into the sea as you adjust your gorgeous locks.<\/p>\n

Store sunglasses in a pocket or on a lanyard so you have them next time it\u2019s sunny out\u2014or you\u2019re back in the city and need to make a fashion statement.<\/p>\n

This advice may sound trivial, but I’ve sent my shades clattering down a ravine, and twice seen friends lose theirs in the lake. They were gone so fast, we didn’t get to say good-bye.<\/p>\n<\/div>
